Hey guys, this goes out to the NYAA applicants regarding the CITIBANK-YMCA Youth For Causes'09.

This joint aims to cultivate a culture of social responsibility and build community leadership. It too acts as a catalyst in promoting responsible social entrepreneurship among youths in Singapore. The programme also functions as a "social venture capital fund" to provide youths, aged 15-35(35 year olds and still youths!?), with seed funds and resources to execute creative entrepreneurial ideas which will benefit and support Non-Profit Organisations(NPO) of their choice.

Also, mentors from Citibank and YMCA will advice, guide and provide project management supervision to the 100 groups thoroughout the duration of their projects from 18 May to 6 September 2009. A recognition scheme will be in place to give out Best Team Awards to outstanding teams in three different age categories.

For more information, log on to www.youthforcauses.com!

Oh yes, if the proposal gets approved, it can be used as a Service-Learning Project for the class. If there're any questions, you guys can contact Mrs Goh at ext 123(:

See you guys tomorrow!
